European Trading Online Voucher Scheme (eTOV) for Accountants

The eTOV scheme provides an excellent opportunity for accounting practices to enhance their digital presence and attract new clients. With grants of up to €7,500 available, this scheme supports practices with up to 50 employees in developing their online capabilities. Eligible accountants can receive up to 50% financial assistance for a range of digital services, including professional website development, client portals, mobile or web apps, SEO, and digital marketing solutions designed to grow their business and better serve their clients.

How it Works

Eligible accounting practices can receive up to €7,500 in financial assistance, covering 50% of the project cost, making it easier and more affordable to enhance your online presence. Once approved and the project is completed, your practice will pay 50% of the project cost.

What can I use it for?

Funding can be used for a variety of digital enhancements, such as adding payment processing capabilities, implementing digital marketing strategies, integrating a booking system into your website, or creating a fully functional eCommerce site or sales funnel. If your grant is approved and your content is ready, we can help you get online quickly and efficiently.

How do you qualify?

To qualify, your business must have 50 or fewer employees, a turnover of less than €5 million, and be trading for at least 3 months.

Can I apply for multiple vouchers?

You can apply for a maximum of three vouchers, with a total funding limit of up to €7,500. This ensures you can receive continued support as your business grows, while staying within the overall funding cap.

How do payments work?

Once your project is completed, you will pay the supplier directly for 50% of the project cost. Please note that VAT is not included in the grant and must be covered separately by your business.

What can't I use my Voucher for?

  • Purchase of non-internet-related software
  • Anything other than online trading-related activity

What else do I need to know?

  • Voucher approval must be gained prior to incurring any expense
  • Third-party costs only will be considered. Own labour is not an eligible expense (labour of spouse or children also considered own labour)
  • All third-party/supplier invoices must contain proper business details (e.g. tax or business registration details or proof that the supplier is a registered business in the territory in which the supplier is located)

Is there a list of businesses that do not qualify?

  • NACE codes provide guidance as to the types of businesses that are not the target of the scheme. A number of sectors have been identified through NACE codes in which exclusions will apply in terms of the European Trading Online Voucher Scheme. The NACE code for a business can be checked via CRO registration.
