What can I use it for?
Funding can be used for a variety of digital enhancements, such as adding payment processing capabilities, implementing digital marketing strategies, integrating a booking system into your website, or creating a fully functional eCommerce site or sales funnel. If your grant is approved and your content is ready, we can help you get online quickly and efficiently.
How do you qualify?
To qualify, your business must have 50 or fewer employees, a turnover of less than €5 million, and be trading for at least 3 months.
The small print
Business must be located in the Republic of Ireland. All prices exclude VAT. Further eligibility terms and conditions apply.
Can I apply for multiple vouchers?
You can apply for a maximum of three vouchers, with a total funding limit of up to €7,500. This ensures you can receive continued support as your business grows, while staying within the overall funding cap.
How do payments work?
Once your project is completed, you will pay the supplier directly for 50% of the project cost, while the supplier claims the remaining 50% from the scheme. Please note that VAT is not included in the grant and must be covered separately by your business. We also require a 20% deposit to get started once you have been approved for the voucher.
What can't I use my Voucher for?
- Purchase of non-internet-related software
- Anything other than online trading-related activity
What else do I need to know?
- Voucher approval must be gained prior to incurring any expense
- Third-party costs only will be considered. Own labour is not an eligible expense (labour of spouse or children also considered own labour)
- All third-party/supplier invoices must contain proper business details (e.g. tax or business registration details or proof that the supplier is a registered business in the territory in which the supplier is located)
Is there a list of businesses that do not qualify?
- NACE codes provide guidance as to the types of businesses that are not the target of the scheme. A number of sectors have been identified through NACE codes in which exclusions will apply in terms of the European Trading Online Voucher Scheme. The NACE code for a business can be checked via CRO registration.
